The National Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) Data Center, the Royal Thai Survey Department
Accurate, Reliable, and Standardized Data Nationwide
CDG Group, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Survey Department under the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, has established the National CORS Data Center. The primary objective of this center is to integrate coordinate reference data from the nationwide GNSS CORS network, which comprises over 250 stations, into a unified and standardized framework, providing continuous accessibility 24/7. This ensures precise and reliable satellite-based coordinate positioning measurements, playing a critical role in promoting competitiveness, supporting economic development, and safeguarding national security and stability.
The services include:
- Network Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) surveying service.
- Satellite data service for continuous navigation of the coordinate reference station. (Continuously Operating Reference Stations: CORS), in RINEX file format.
- Post-processing service.
These services have diverse applications across various sectors, including surveying for mapping and geoinformatics, land and cadastral surveying, engineering and construction (e.g., i-Construction), disaster management and mitigation, water resource management and planning, transportation and autonomous systems (e.g., autonomous cars and drones), high-speed railway systems, smart farming and precision agriculture, weather research, as well as national security and defense-related activities.
