CDG and the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, co-hosts the “Mahasawat English Website” design competition and the award and certificate presentation ceremony under the learning development program to support digital tourism of the Khlong Mahasawat community
CDG Code Their Dreams, CDG Group’s CSR project, joined hands with the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, in hosting the “Mahasawat English Website” design competition and the award and certificate presentation ceremony as part of the learning development program to support digital tourism of the Khlong Mahasawat community. The event reflected CDG’s commitment to social enterprise and digitalized society development efforts to support tourism of the Khong Mahasawat community with new technologies through online platforms. The winners’ work has been used for improving the Thai website and developing the English website for the community including channels for community product inquiries (E-Commerce/Facebook Chatbot), bicycle maps, and multimedia storytelling.
The winners with the best scores received the awards including two scholarships worth Baht 5,000 each and one scholarship worth Baht 3,000 and the certificates. The scores were judged based on specific criteria in terms of design and attractiveness; content, information and accuracy; e-commerce and marketing; and candidates’ presentation and answers.
Miss Noppawan Kiratiwiratchakarn, a third-year student of the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, the winners’ representative, said that “We will apply the knowledge gained from the “CDG Code Their Dreams” project to creating and advancing the Facebook Chatbot for the Khlong Mahasawat community for practical uses.”
Moving forward, the winners would jointly adapt their work to supporting the digital tourism of the Khlong Mahasawat community from September 2019 onwards.
