NOSTRA Map has released special map layers featuring 114 assembly points in Bangkok and suburb areas to present wood flowers for royal funeral. Nine exhibitions in Remembrance of King Rama IX are marked.
In remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and in gratitude for his boundless and gracious kindness, NOSTRA Map, navigation map application on smartphone and tablet presented by GlobeTech Co., Ltd. has released special map comprising of 114 assembly points to present the “funeral wood flowers” in Bangkok and suburb areas so that people can search for the most nearby locations and navigate the most convenient route to travel to.
To use the map, just open the app, touch the layer icon and choose 114 assembly points of ‘present funeral wood flowers’, the application will display all the locations to present the funeral wood flowers. The application will display nine replicas of the Royal Crematorium pinned by the symbol of Phra Merumas and all assembly points to present the royal funeral wood flowers pinned by the symbol of funeral flower at https://map.nostramap.com/NostraMap/?layer=114

The “Nine exhibitions of King Rama IX” comprises of
- “Through the Lens of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej” exhibition in recognition of the late king’s remarkable artistic talent and of his royal grace as a Thai art patron.
The exhibition is held at the main exhibition on 19th floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, open daily from September 2nd, 2017 to January 7th, 2018, Tuesday to Sunday (Monday close), 10.00 – 21.00 hrs.
- The exhibition “In Remembrance of the Great King” showcases more than 160 rare artworks of different mediums by leading Thai artists of various generations as well as precious collectibles related to King Rama IX.
The exhibition is held during August 29th to November 26th, 2017 at 18th floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre from Tuesday to Sunday (Monday closed), 10.00 – 21.00 hrs.
- “EARTH- WATER- FOREST- AIR’ The Royal Inspiration”exhibition. His Majesty takes natural water supply very seriously as was reflected in his speech and has led to natural management in Thailand today. “It is important for us to have water to drink and use because life is here. If there is water, we can survive, but no water, we cannot survive”.
The Exhibition is held during August 10th – November 12th, 2017 at 17thfloor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre” from Tuesday to Sunday (Monday closed), 10.00 – 21.00 hrs.
- Sirakarn Prabubalnawamin Exhibition follows the late King since he travelled to help people countrywide without concerning to the distance and difficulty. Passing through a symbol of the booth of Sirakarn Prabubalnawamin exhibition, you can learn that the late King has never leaf his people.
The Exhibition is held during September 1st to October 31st, 2017 at Siriraj Museum everyday from 05.30 – 20.30 hrs., except the multimedia indoor museum which is open during 10.00 – 17.00 hrs. The exhibition will be closed on Tuesday and public holiday and during October 25th to 27th (Royal Cremation).
- “Still on My Mind”, the exhibition to pay tribute to His Majesty the King. Series of exhibitions and activities from various artists who are greatly inspired by the King.
Exhibition and activities are held from October 1st – 31st, 2017 at Central World.
- King Rama IX exhibition- stories from the National Archives of Thailand to demonstrate the late King biography, the royal duties that dedicated with perseverance and gracious talent for all Thai people’s peaceful happiness.
The exhibition is open daily, 9.00 – 16.00 hrs. except Sunday and public holiday.
- In Loving Remembrance exhibition by Silpakorn university and alumni to express gratitude and tribute to the Royal Cremation ceremony of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej this October.
The exhibition is open daily between September 15th and October 31st, 2017at H.R.H.Princess Sirindhorn Art Gallery of Silpakon University.
- Every story of Thailand’s Father exhibition at Bangkok City Library that collect every story about His Majesty King Bhumibol Aduyadej and Chkari Monarchy including rotation of tribute exhibition for Thais in remembrance of the King’s goodness.
The exhibition is open daily 8.00 – 21.00 hrs. from Tuesday to Saturday, and 09.00 – 20.00 hrs. on Sunday (Monday closed) at 3rd floor at Bangkok City Library.
- “Always on my mind” exhibition that tells story about our beloved King in every period for 70 years in the monarchy through his portrait.
The exhibition is held daily from October 2nd to 29th, 2017 at connecting path between BTS and MRT.
