Open “Zone” app when in Sanam Luang to locate every public service station, and no more search on foot!

“Zone” mobile app keeps users updated with relevant information in Sanam Luang minute-by-minute, including locations of public services and facilities such as toilets, first aid stations, drinking water, wheelchair, kid’s ID bracelet, mobile phone charging, free Wi-Fi, and shuttle bus services, etc. It shows precise locations so the users can find them conveniently without walking randomly around, thanks to ArcGIS support of Esri Thailand. The app also provides updates on length of the waiting line to pay respect to the late monarch before the royal urn at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall. Available both for Android and iOS devices, the app is a must for Sanam Luang goers.
After downloading and installing Zone app on your mobile device, simply sign up and log in to find your current zone and others across Thailand. Users who wish to pay respect before the royal urn can find information about Sanam Luang by choosing Current Zone. The app will show Sanam Luang zone in the bottom row, complete with relevant information and services, such as news updates, food provision, public services and other interesting information shared by other users. To locate a service station, choose the desired service and the app will display its basic information and tent number. By clicking the link to the map, the app will clearly show the location of that tent on the map, which frees you from searching on foot.
